Hello, my name is Rowan. I’m a 10th grader student from HSTAT and I’m a part of the school’s newspaper class. My family comes from the Dominican Republic but I was born in Brooklyn, New York.

Something about me is that I like to spend my free time listening to my favorite bands like Gun N’ Roses, Gorillaz, Queen and others. Other things that I like to do are read comics/books, my favorites are Gotham Academia, Lord of the Flies and the Outsiders. I also like to hang out with my friends or just stay in my house and chill with my pet hamster, Caramelo.

 What I’m excited about this class is that we not just want to write about current important stuff that everyone should know but also fun and interesting stuff that the people would like to see in our newspaper and that you also like.
